Live broadcast and Time-Shift TV, CLEAR IPTV supports live broadcast, basically the source of live TVs is from the encoder which gets the analog or digital TV channels from satellite.
Time-shift TV is the ability to capture real time stream and to transform them into cyclic physical assets in real time. TSTV enables subscribers to switch from the live broadcast to unicast in order to view a replay of the stream, including the ability to use trick play modes (fast forward, pause, and rewind). Furthermore, providers can enable TSTV on selected channels, set the buffer size (the duration of the recording), and configure the service in different ways. |
